Hotel Franchi is at the moment run by Régis Rossi and his father Igino.
Both have a great enthusiasm for their work, expressed in the kindliness and courtesy shown to their guests and in the warm welcome given to everyone who stays at Hotel Franchi, where one can find a true Italian atmosphere combined with an excellent level of comfort, cleanliness and tranquillity. As well as their personal traits, Igino and Régis can also boast great professionalism which derives from their vocational training and experience.
REGIS
Born in 1981, he attended the Marco Polo Tourism Institute in Florence and then, with the enthusiasm typical of a twenty-year-old man he went off to gain professional experience at the Cumberland Hotel in London and at the Holiday Inn in Brussels. He then came back to Italy and worked in 4-star hotels in Florence where he widened his knowledge of the problems related to the hospitality sector and to hotel management.
With this important training behind him, in 2003 Régis began to collaborate with his father in running the Hotel Cimabue. Sold that business, assumed the management of Hotel Franchi in August 2008, and the Hotel Panama in January 2009, showing promise of outstandingly perpetuation on his father’s work.

IGINO
Born in 1949, in Civitella Alfedena in the Abruzzo region in Italy. After a deep professional preparation in the hotel management and several English language courses, he began his career in 1965 on the Lloyd Triestino Asia motor-ship.
In 1967 he went abroad (to Zurich and London) and starting off from the position of Chef de Rang, he reached that of Chief Reception at the London Metropole Hotel.
In 1974 he joined the THF Hotels group and for over seven years he worked in their most prestigious hotels in Italy and abroad, from the Forte Hotel Village in Sardinia to the Hyde Park Hotel in London, occupying managerial positions in every sector of hotel management, including administration.
In 1982 Igino began his career as hotel director, first at the Hotel Castelsandra in S. Marco di Castellabbate (Salerno) and then at the Golf Hotel Riva dei Tessali in Marina di Ginosa (Taranto), and then at the Balletti Park Hotel in San Martino al Cimino (Viterbo).
In 1987 his adventure as entrepreneur began with the management of the Motel Belvedere in Avezzano. Since 1993 to 2007 Igino has been owner and manager of Hotel Cimabue in Florence.
