Is there a restaurant?
No, there isn't a restaurant but there are some very good trattorias nearby as well as restaurants and wine-bars. Our staff can recommend them to you.

Is it possible to pay the bill on the arrival?
Yes, it is. You may settle-up at check-in.

We naturally accept cash. You can also pay in advance through a bank transfer or with a postal order.

Which is the difference between a standard room and a superior room?
The superior rooms, soon to be opened, will be furnished in a contemporary style, with matching colours and surfaces, that will provide a more romantic setting.

Are there rooms for disabled people? Yes, we have two rooms for disabled people. All the common areas are reached without steps.

Is there a telephone/TV in the room?
Yes, all the rooms are provided with a direct line telephone and they will be soon furnished with satellite TV.

On which floor are the rooms situated?
The rooms are on five levels and the hotel has a lift.

Are the prices per person or per night? The prices are per night. Taxes and services included.

Is breakfast included?
No, breakfast is not included in the room price, unless special promotions. Unlike other hotels in Florence, or in other Italian and European cities, we are pleased to offer our customers a rich buffet breakfast, excluded from the room rate. You can choose whether and when to have breakfast, adding an extra € 6.00 per person per night to room price

Are there non-smoking rooms?
Almost all rooms are non-smoking but we do have some available for smokers.

Do rooms have balcony?
Yes, every room has a balcony.

What services do the rooms have?
The thirty-five rooms are equipped with every comfort: bath or shower, direct telephone connection, safe, refrigerator-bar, television and air-conditioning with in-room controls. Most of the rooms have a laptop with CD/DVD player available to let you listen to music, to upload/download photos, watch DVDs or work with your files and documents.

Where can I park the car?
It's worth mentioning that you can avoid Florence's limited traffic zone when you drive to our hotel. Upon arrival, park your car in our basement garage or in the outside car park.

How far is the railway station?
The central railway station Santa Maria Novella is about 8 km away. It takes 15 minutes by bus or by taxi. A taxi costs about €20.00. You can also book a private car service to pick you up when you book your room – even if you book online.

How far is the airport?
Florence's airport “Amerigo Vespucci” is 300 metres from Franchi Hotel. When you book your room, you can request a private car service to pick you up. You can even book this online at our website.

Where can I rent a car?
Nearby, there are the major car rental companies. Renting is very easy and our staff can help.

Are animals admitted?
Yes, but only small ones.

Can the hotel book tickets for museums, exhibitions and other events?
Yes, just ask. You're particularly advised to book for the Galleria dell'Accademia and the Uffizi . Please specify the date, approximate time and the number of people you'd like the booking for.
